We are pleased to announce that registration is now open — until November 3, 2025 — for the VII Workshop of the Graduate Program in Physics (WGPP), organized by the Graduate Program in Physics at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in Curitiba, Brazil.
The WGPP-UFPR is an annual event primarily organized by our graduate students, with support from the Graduate Program Office. Each edition brings together international keynote speakers, invited lecturers from Brazil, faculty presentations, and student talks — a dynamic format that has made the workshop a vibrant and stimulating meeting within our academic community.
The seventh edition builds on the success of previous years and, for the first time, will be open to the external public.
This year’s program will feature three invited international speakers and two invited speakers from Brazil, as well as a diverse schedule of lectures, oral and poster presentations by students, and a round-table discussion focused on outreach activities in graduate education.
The active participation of researchers from Brazil and abroad, together with the engagement of our students, continues to highlight the vitality and growing impact of the Workshop series.
