# Postdoctoral researcher in relativistic heavy-ion physics, phenomenology and experimental in ALICE.

We invite applications for postdoctoral research positions at the Univ. of São Paulo and/or the State Univ. of Campinas, working under the supervision of Profs. Matthew Luzum, Jun Takahashi, and/or Giorgio Torrieri. These positions are part of a multidisciplinary FAPESP funded project encompassing aspects of high-energy nuclear physics, astrophysics and medical sciences.

The University of São Paulo and the State University of Campinas are consistently ranked at the very top of Latin American universities and among the top worldwide.

At this time, we are searching for applications in phenomenology of relativistic collisions applied to LHC and/or the EIC and experimental data analysis with ALICE or SII in VERITAS collaboration. The precise location and supervisor will depend on the fit and preferences of the candidate and the PIs.

The postdoctoral positions are for three years with possible renewal for an extra year. Values are listed in (https://fapesp.br/valores/bolsasnopais). In addition, they are tax-free and pay moving costs as well as a research grant for travel, computer equipment and research expenses (http://www.fapesp.br/en/5427).

Applicants’ qualifications:

– PhD in Physics or related fields.

– Experience in one or more of the research fields listed above.

– Ability in programming.
