A solu\u00e7\u00e3o para esse aparente problema foi esclarecida pela teoria das distribui\u00e7\u00f5es, tema de um artigo de 1959, de Carmen Lys Ribeiro Braga e Mario Schenberg, que o Brazilian Journal of Physics <a href=\"\/v1\/sbf\/bjp-republica-artigo-classico-de-carmen-braga-e-mario-schenberg\/\">republica<\/a> nesta edi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Marcos Amaku e seus colegas da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo apresentam como exemplo de sistema f\u00edsico um oscilador harm\u00f4nico em um potencial quadrado infinito, para mostrar como a fun\u00e7\u00e3o delta de Dirac e a s\u00e9rie divergente, que surgem ao longo do c\u00e1lculo dos n\u00edveis de energia do sistema, podem ser entendidas como distribui\u00e7\u00f5es.
