color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1rem;\">Os f\u00edsicos Ignacio Bediaga (CBPF) e Carla G\u00f6bel (PUC-Rio), membros da colabora\u00e7\u00e3o internacional do experimento LHCb, escreveram um artigo de revis\u00e3o a convite da revista Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics, sobre um dos assunto mais interessantes da f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas, relacionado ao por que a mat\u00e9ria prevalece sobre a antimat\u00e9ria no Universo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUma das condi\u00e7\u00f5es para que isso aconte\u00e7a \u00e9 a chamada viola\u00e7\u00e3o de carga e paridade\u201d, G\u00f6bel explica no v\u00eddeo abaixo. \u201c\u00c9 o fato de que part\u00edculas e antipart\u00edculas, em seus processos de decaimento, n\u00e3o se comportam da mesma maneira.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"display: block; color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1rem;\">O experimento LHCb, do qual participam pesquisadores da PUC-Rio, CBPF e da UFRJ, realiza colis\u00f5es no acelerador LHC, do CERN, para investigar a desintegra\u00e7\u00e3o de part\u00edculas que cont\u00eam os quarks pesados beauty e charm, com o objetivo de entender a viola\u00e7\u00e3o de carga-paridade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>O trabalho teve o apoio financeiro das ag\u00eancias FAPERJ, CAPES e CNPq.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: inherit;
