The Brazilian Journal of Physics, formerly named Revista Brasileira de Física, is published by the Brazilian Physical Society (SBF) since 1971. The Editorial Board includes physicists from Brazil and from some  other countries. The Chief Editor, Antonio Martins Figueiredo Neto (USP), is supported by a group of Associate Editors working in different areas of physics Alberto Saa (UNICAMP), Paulo Alberto Nussenzveig (USP), Luiz Felipe Alvahydo de Ulhoa Canto (UFRJ), Luiz Fernando Ziebell (UFRGS) and Marco Cremona (PUC-Rio).

 

New submission procedure

The Brazilian Journal of Physics is now being published in partnership with the Springer Group. Starting today, 31 March 2011, all manuscripts should be uploaded through the webpage at the address http://www.editorialmanager.com/bjph/.

  • In order to upload manuscripts, all contributors must be registered with the new system. Please register with the same username if you have an account in the Brazilian Physical Society online system.
  • All referees have been automatically registered.
    If you have reviewed manuscripts submitted to the BJP, or have been invited to do so, please do not register again. Instead, click on the "Send/Username Password" link and follow the instructions.
  • To register, go to http://www.editorialmanager.com/bjph/.
    At the top left corner of the webpage, you will find a menu.
    Choose "Register" and follow the instructions.
    The new submission system accepts a large variety of file formats.
