Online submissions

The Braz. J. Phys. is now offering and testing a new online system for the submission of manuscripts (sec.sbfisica.org.br/bjp). Authors are invited to register a Login and choose a Password. Manuscripts are required to be submitted as a single PDF file.

We invite you to try the new system. Please, send us your suggestions.

We are no longer accepting printed submissions. Also, we are planning to discontinue email submissions. Online submissions were created to speed up all of the stages of submission and analysis of manuscripts.

To perform an online submission:

  1. Register at our online submission system using the option New User.
  2. Using the registered Login and Password, log into the online submission system.
  3. Authors can easily follow the instructions. They are asked to submit one single file of the manuscript, as a PDF file.
  4. Authors who are also Referees should click at the option “Author”, and choose “add an article” to submit a manuscript.
  5. Authors will be able to check the status of their manuscripts. Changes of status will be communicated to authors by an email.

On submitting their manuscripts, authors may include a letter to the editor (for example, with suggestions for potential referees).

The submission of a paper implies that it has not been previously published, that it is not under consideration for publication, and that it will not be published elsewhere without the written permission of the Editors. It is understood that the corresponding author acts with the agreement of all the other authors.

Copyright License – The submission of a paper implies that the authors agree that the copyright for their accepted paper, including text and illustrations, is transferred to the Sociedade Brasileira de Física (SBF).
