We are pleased to announce the 13th International Conference on High Pressure Semiconductor Physics (HPSP-13) to be held in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil by July 21 to 25, 2008. The Thirteenth International Conference on High Pressure Semiconductor Physics (HPSP-13) is a satellite meeting of the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors (ICPS29). Its aim is to bring together scientists and engineers who use high pressure and other forms of high stress in the study of semiconductors to present and discuss their latest results in this field. The HPSP-13 conference will review, electronic, transport, spin-dependent, optical, structural, and vibration properties of semiconductors with emphasis in the latest advances and developments in the field.
